About 210 people with faimily name Gobin live in Croatia today, in 90 households. There were 160 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number increased by 30 percent. They are located in 7 Croatian counties, in 9 cities and 7 other places, mostly in Kali on the Island of Ugljan (95), Zadar (65), Zagreb (15), Split (<10), and in Medulin in Pula area (<10).
In the sources analysed in the project Acta Croatica so far, the name is mentioned over five times, the first time 1825 in source Catholic Church Parish Records.
