Gašparini families are mainly Croats the family name originates from Porec area , rarely Italians . In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Pula and Porec. In Cerion in Porec area every second inhabitant had the family name Gašparini.
Prevalence
About 160 people with faimily name Gašparini live in Croatia today, in 60 households. There were 170 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number decreased by 10 percent. They are located in threee Croatian counties, in 11 cities and 25 other places, mostly in Rijeka (25), Cerion in Porec area (20), Pula (15), Porec (15), and in Prascari in Porec area (15).
