Prevalence
About 60 people with faimily name Galjar live in Croatia today, in 20 households. There were 90 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number decreased by 40 percent. They are only located in in 6 Croatian cities and 9 other places, mostly in Zagreb (20), Pitomaca in Djurdjevac area (15), Virovitica (<10), Sesvete (<5), and in Starogradacki Marof in Djurdjevac area (<5).
