About 70 people with faimily name Fuš live in Croatia today, in 30 households. There were 80 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number decreased by 0 percent. They are only located in four Croatian cities and 6 other places, mostly in Kotoriba in Prelog area (70), Zagreb (<10), Jakovlje in Zapresic area (<5), Beretinec in Varazdin area (<5), and in Donja Dubrava in Koprivnica area (<5).
In the sources analysed in the project Acta Croatica so far, the name is mentioned few times, the first time 1917 in source List of Dignitaries, Officials and Public Servants of the Kingdom of Croatia-Slavonia.
