Prevalence
About 100 people with faimily name Frančula live in Croatia today, in 50 households. There were 100 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number remains constant. They are located in threee Croatian counties, in 8 cities and 10 other places, mostly in Gorica in Labin area (35), Pula (25), Cvitici in Labin area (<10), Rijeka (<5), and in Pazin (<5).
Outside Croatia
At least seven families with this surname emigrated from Croatia to: the United States (3), Sweden (1), Canada (1), Australia (1), and to France (1). Family name Frančula is present in four countries on two continents. The family name "Francula " is used by small number of people in the United States.
