In Croatia, Filo families are predominantly Croats (from Cakovec ), rarely Hungarians (from Beli Manastir area ). In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Cakovec and Zagreb.
Prevalence
About 40 people with faimily name Filo live in Croatia today, in 14 households. There were 40 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number remains constant. They are only located in four Croatian cities and 7 other places, mostly in Cakovec (10), Ivanovec (<10), Lazina Cicka (<10), Ladislav in Garesnica area (<5), and in Zmajevac in Beli Manastir area (<5).
