In Croatia, Eremić families are predominantly Serbs, rarely Croats (also from Duga Resa area ). In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Duga Resa area and in Karlovac. In Krivaja Vojnićka in Duga Resa area every second inhabitant had the family name Eremić.
