Prevalence
About 30 people with faimily name Elčić live in Croatia today, in 11 households. There were 40 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number decreased by 30 percent. They are located in four Croatian counties, four cities and four other places, mostly in Bobovje (<10), Majur in Hrvatska Kostajnica area (<10), Vidovec Petrovski (<10), Zagreb (<5), and in Donja Velesnja in Hrvatska Kostajnica area (<5).

Family name Elčić (including: Elcic , Elcich and Elchich ) is present in 8 countries on three continents.
