Džodan families are mainly Serbs and they are mostly from Daruvar area , whereas often Croats (Rijeka). According to some sources they are from Zadar area. In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Zagreb and Pakrac.
Prevalence
About 70 people with faimily name Džodan live in Croatia today, in 40 households. There were 130 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number halved. They are located in the most of Croatian counties, in 15 cities and 9 other places, mostly in Zagreb (20), Rijeka (15), Pula (<10), Garesnica (<10), and in Lipik (<10).
