Drmić families are Croats and they are mostly from western Bosnia. In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Western Bosnia (Tomislavgrad area) and in Middle Bosnia (Vitez area). In places Dobrići and Vrilo in Western Bosnia every fourth inhabitant had the family name Drmić.
Prevalence
About 570 people with faimily name Drmić live in Croatia today, in 210 households. There were 10 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number multiplied. They are located in the most of Croatian counties, in 33 cities and 42 other places, mostly in Zagreb (125), Djakovo (95), Split (50), Sesvete (35), and in Tovarnik in Ilok area (30).

Family name Drmić (including: Drmic , Dermick ) is present in 13 countries worldwide. The family name "Drmic " is used by some 60 people in Germany , small number in Austria , and small number of people in the United States.
