Prevalence
About 20 people with faimily name Dobrin live in Croatia today, in 10 households. There were 50 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number decreased significantly. They are only located in threee Croatian cities and threee other places, mostly in Zagreb (<10), Martijanec in Ludbreg area (<10), Strmec in Samobor area (<5), Kapelski Vrh in Zabok area (<5), and in Pirovac in Vodice area (<5).
In the sources analysed in the project Acta Croatica so far, the name is mentioned few times, the first time 1902 in source Hartmann's General List of Apartments in Zagreb.
