In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Ozalj and in Bosnian Krajina (Prijedor area). In Lović Prekriški in Ozalj every ninth inhabitant had the family name Cunjak.
Prevalence
About 70 people with faimily name Cunjak live in Croatia today, in 30 households. There were 50 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number increased by 40 percent. They are located in 6 Croatian counties, in 9 cities and 10 other places, mostly in Karlovac (<10), Zagreb (<10), Tulisevica in Opatija area (<10), Koprivnica (<10), and in Lovic Prekriski (<10).
