Prevalence
About 20 people with faimily name Crvarić live in Croatia today, in 12 households. There were 30 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number decreased by 40 percent. They are located in only five Croatian places: in Split (15), Zadar (<10), in Veli Rat (<5) and Bozava (<5) on Dugi (Long) Island, and in Ugljan on the Island of Ugljan (<5).
In the sources analysed in the project Acta Croatica so far, the name is mentioned over thirty times, the first time 1902 in source Hartmann's General List of Apartments in Zagreb.
