In Croatia, Cero families are predominantly Croats (from Osijek ), rarely Bosniaks (from Zagreb ). In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Osijek and in North Herzegovina (Konjic area).

Prevalence

Only a few people with faimily name Cero live in Croatia today, in four households only. There were 10 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number remains constant.
They are located in three Croatian cities only: in Zagreb (<10), Osijek (<5), and in Zadar (<5).
