In Croatia, Buš families are generally Croats (from Nasice area ), rarely Hungarians (from Donji Miholjac ). In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Nasice and in Nasice area.
Prevalence
Only a few people with faimily name Buš live in Croatia today, in three households only. There were 10 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number remains constant. They are located in two Croatian counties, threee cities and two other places, mostly in Djurdjenovac in Nasice area (<5), Beli Manastir (<5), Donji Miholjac (<5), Cres on the Island of Cres (<5), and in Draz in Beli Manastir area (<5).
In the sources analysed in the project Acta Croatica so far, the name is mentioned over five times, the first time 1902 in source Hartmann's General List of Apartments in Zagreb.
