Buzuk families are Croats and they are mostly from middle Bosnia. In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Bosnian Krajina (Prijedor area) and in Middle Bosnia (Kiseljak area). In Buzuci in Middle Bosnia every third inhabitant had the family name Buzuk.
Prevalence
About 180 people with faimily name Buzuk live in Croatia today, in 70 households. There were 10 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number multiplied. They are located in the most of Croatian counties, in 25 cities and 31 other places, mostly in Zagreb (40), Split (10), Knin (10), Petrinja (<10), and in Dugo Selo (<10).

Family name Buzuk (including: Buzuc , Buzhuk ) is present in 20 countries worldwide.
