Bulajić families are mainly Croats and they are mostly from Bosnian Posavina , also Montenegrins and Serbs. In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Bosanian Posavina (Bosanska Gradiska area) and in Middle Bosnia (Zenica area).
Prevalence
About 120 people with faimily name Bulajić live in Croatia today, in 60 households. There were 40 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number tripled. They are located in the most of Croatian counties, in 17 cities and 18 other places, mostly in Zagreb (30), Dalj in Vinkovci area (15), Rijeka (15), Pula (10), and in Split (<10).
