They are located in the most of Croatian counties, in 26 cities and 42 other places, mostly in Zagreb (140), Desno Trebarjevo in Sisak area (40), Koprivnica (20), Gaj (20), and in Lobor in Zlatar area (15).
Outside Croatia
At least three families with this surname emigrated from Croatia to Germany (2) and the United States (1). Family name Brlečić is present in five countries on two continents. The family name "Brlecic " is used by some 100 people in the United States , small number in Canada , and small number of people in Germany.
