In Croatia, Boros families are almost entirely Croats (from Middle Bosnia ), barely Serbs. In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Middle Bosnia (Tesanj area) and in Middle Bosnia (Zavidovici area). In Tugovići in Middle Bosnia every fifth inhabitant had the family name Boros.
