According to some sources they are from Mihovljan in Hrvatsko Zagorje Region, very rarely Serbs and Italians (from Pula ). In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Ogulin and Pula. In Kršikla in Pazin every third inhabitant had the family name Blašković.
