Berket families are Croats and they are mostly from Trogir. In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Split and Trogir.
Prevalence
About 70 people with faimily name Berket live in Croatia today, in 30 households. There were 50 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number increased by 50 percent. They are located in 6 Croatian counties, in 7 cities and two other places, mostly in Trogir (30), Kastel Kambelovac (20), Banjol on the Island of Rab (15), Zagreb (<10), and in Palit on the Island of Rab (<5).
