Belobrajdić families are Croats and they are mostly from Delnice area. In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Zagreb and in Ogulin area. In Zahrt in Vrbovsko area every third inhabitant had the family name Belobrajdić.
Prevalence
About 240 people with faimily name Belobrajdić live in Croatia today, in 100 households. There were 350 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number decreased by 30 percent. They are located in the most of Croatian counties, in 23 cities and 18 other places, mostly in Zagreb (50), Karlovac (20), Josipdol in Ogulin area (15), Delnice (15), and in Ravna Gora in Delnice area (15).
In the sources analysed in the project Acta Croatica so far, the name is mentioned over ten times, the first time 1906 in source Yearbook and Directory of Literary Society of St. Jerome 1906.
