Prevalence
About 90 people with faimily name Baća live in Croatia today, in 30 households. There were 140 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number decreased by 40 percent. They are located in 7 Croatian counties, in 7 cities and 18 other places, mostly in Zapresic (20), Senkovec in Zapresic area (<10), Zagreb (<10), Dubrovnik (<10), and in Broce on the Peljesac peninsula (<10).
In the sources analysed in the project Acta Croatica so far, the name is mentioned over ten times, the first time 1902 in source Hartmann's General List of Apartments in Zagreb.
