About 110 people with faimily name Banjan live in Croatia today, in 40 households. There were 80 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number increased by 40 percent. They are located in 8 Croatian counties, in 10 cities and 8 other places, mostly in Split (40), Osijek (15), Kastel Sucurac (<10), Kobasicari in Bjelovar area (<10), and in Solin (<10).
