Armanda families are Croats and they are mostly from Solin area. In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Split and in Solin area. In Koprivno in Solin area every tenth inhabitant had the family name Armanda.
Prevalence
About 180 people with faimily name Armanda live in Croatia today, in 70 households. There were 120 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number increased by 60 percent. They are located in four Croatian counties and 7 other places, mostly in Split (100), Hrvace in Sinj area (25), Koprivno in Solin area (25), Zagreb (20), and in Moscenicka Draga in Opatija area (<10).
