Prevalence
About 90 people with faimily name Alapić live in Croatia today, in 30 households. There were 120 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number decreased by 30 percent. They are located in 7 Croatian counties, in 10 cities and 8 other places, mostly in Sisak (20), Zagreb (20), and in Mracaj (<10), Stubalj (<10) and Bobovac (<10) in Hrvatska Kostajnica area.
In the sources analysed in the project Acta Croatica so far, the name is mentioned over five times, the first time 1929 in source Emigration Commission Zagreb.
