Ajdinović families can be both Serbs and Croats (from Cazinska Krajina Region, Bosnia) and Bosniaks (from Bosnian Posavina ). In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Glina area and in Cazins Region, Bosnia (Cazin area). In Podgorje in Glina area every ninth inhabitant had the family name Ajdinović.

About 90 people with faimily name Ajdinović live in Croatia today, in 50 households. There were 100 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number decreased by 0 percent. They are located in the most of Croatian counties, in 14 cities and 13 other places, mostly in Karlovac (15), Zagreb (10), Podgorje in Glina area (10), Pula (<10), and in Slavonski Brod (<10).
