Prevalence
About 60 people with faimily name Agnić live in Croatia today, in 40 households. There were 70 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number decreased by 10 percent. They are located in threee Croatian counties, four cities and four other places, mostly in Okrug Gornji on the Island of Ciovo (25), Split (20), Zagreb (<10), Samobor (<5), and in Trogir (<5).
In the sources analysed in the project Acta Croatica so far, the name is mentioned few times, the first time 1729 in source Catholic Church Parish Records.
