In Croatia, Adlešić families are almost entirely Croats (from Zupanja area ), very rarely Slovenes (from Zagreb ). In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Zupanja area and in Duga Resa area. In Mrzljaki in Duga Resa area every fourth inhabitant had the family name Adlešić.
Prevalence
About 60 people with faimily name Adlešić live in Croatia today, in 20 households. There were 30 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number doubled. They are located in 9 Croatian counties, in 10 cities and 10 other places, mostly in Zupanja (10), Gradiste in Zupanja area (<10), Stara Susica in Delnice area (<10), Slavonski Brod (<10), and in Karlovac (<10).
