Česi families are Croats and they are mostly from Koprivnica. In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Koprivnica and Zagreb. In Rovci in Krizevci area every twentieth inhabitant had the family name Česi.
Prevalence
About 140 people with faimily name Česi live in Croatia today, in 60 households. There were 150 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number decreased by 0 percent. They are located in 10 Croatian counties, in 11 cities and 18 other places, mostly in Koprivnica (45), Zagreb (20), Podrute (15), Novi Marof (<10), and in Poljana Krizevacka (<10).
