Vrana is located in the City of Cres, in Primorje-Gorski Kotar County at an elevation of 252 meters above sea level and it covers the area of 20.72 km² (8.00 sq. miles). According to the 2011 census report, there were only 12 inhabitants. It is entirely populated by Croats. Nearby places: Stanić, Grmov, Zbišina, Vidovići, Miholašćica, Orlec, Martinšćica, Stivan, Mali Podol and Belej.
