Veli Turini is located in the municipality Sveta Nedelja, in Istra County at an elevation of 15 meters above sea level and it covers the area of 2.17 km² (0.84 sq. miles). According to the 2011 census report, there were 45 inhabitants. It is largely populated by Croats (88%), but also Bosniaks (9%).
