Tomaševci is located in the municipality Žumberak, in Zagreb County at an elevation of 380 meters above sea level and it covers the area of 1.31 km² (0.51 sq. miles). According to the 2011 census report, there were only ten inhabitants left. It is entirely populated by Croats. Nearby places: Grič, Žumberak, Stari Grad Žumberački, Hartje, Petričko Selo, Grgetići, Sopote, Gornja Vas, Kalje and Cernik.
