Skrad is the seat of the municipality (the same name) in Primorje-Gorski Kotar County, at an elevation of 700 meters above sea level and it covers the area of 2.93 km² (1.13 sq. miles). According to the 2011 census report, there were 689 inhabitants. It is predominantly populated by Croats (98%), but also.
