Podosoje is located in the municipality Runovići, in Split-Dalmatia County at an elevation of 300 meters above sea level and it covers the area of 8.37 km² (3.23 sq. miles). According to the 2011 census report, there were 42 inhabitants. It is entirely populated by Croats. Nearby places: Podbablje Gornje, Runović, Zmijavci, Krstatice, Hršćevani, Slivno, Drum, Kamenmost, Rašćane Gornje and Župa Srednja.
