Markusica

Markušica is the seat of the municipality (the same name) in Vukovar-Srijem County, at an elevation of 89 meters above sea level and it covers the area of 20.56 km² (7.94 sq. miles). According to the 2011 census report, there were 1.012 inhabitants. It is predominantly populated by Serbs (92%), but also Croats (7%). Nearby places: Podrinje, Gaboš, Antin, Ada, Palača, Laslovo, Korog, Karadžićevo, Mlaka Antinska and Jarmina.
