Gornji Vrhovci is located in the municipality Velika, in Požega-Slavonia County at an elevation of 457 meters above sea level and it covers the area of 18.09 km² (6.98 sq. miles). According to the 2011 census report, there were only ten inhabitants left. It is entirely populated by Serbs. Nearby places: Šušnjari, Kruševo, Poljanska, Kantrovci, Kamenski Vučjak, Ozdakovci, Smoljanovci, Klisa, Doljanci and Bogdašić.
