Gornji Skrad is located in the municipality Krnjak, in Karlovac County at an elevation of 240 meters above sea level and it covers the area of 2.91 km² (1.12 sq. miles). According to the 2011 census report, there were 66 inhabitants. It is predominantly populated by Serbs (95%), but also Croats (5%).
