Drastin is located in the municipality Jelenje, in Primorje-Gorski Kotar County at an elevation of 240 meters above sea level and it covers the area of 0.15 km² (0.06 sq. miles). According to the 2011 census report, there were 17 inhabitants. It is mostly populated by Croats (69%), but also Serbs (31%). Nearby places: Lukeži, Lopača, Ilovik, Ratulje, Valići, Jelenje, Martinovo Selo, Lubarska, Bašunje Male and Bašunje Vele.
