Bašarinka is located in the City of Poreč, in Istra County at an elevation of 35 meters above sea level and it covers the area of 1.44 km² (0.56 sq. miles). According to the 2011 census report, there were 88 inhabitants. It is largely populated by Croats (82%), but also Serbs (5%) and Italians (4%). Nearby places: Cancini, Kukci, Stranići kod Nove Vasi, Rošini, Mihatovići, Červar-Porat, Blagdanići, Črvar, Gedići and Vabriga.
