They are located in 7 Croatian counties, in 10 cities and 11 other places, mostly in Mursko Sredisce (15), Zagreb (15), in Podturen (10) and Miklavec (<10) in Mursko Sredisce area, and in Lopatinec in Cakovec area (<10).

At least three families with this surname emigrated from Croatia to the United States (2) and Australia (1). The family name "Zobic " is used by small number of people in Austria , small number in Italy , and small number of people in the United States.
