In Čerkazovići in Middle Bosnia nearly every inhabitant had the family name Zobić.

About 90 people with faimily name Zobić live in Croatia today, in 50 households. There were 70 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number increased by 40 percent. They are located in 7 Croatian counties, in 10 cities and 11 other places, mostly in Mursko Sredisce (15), Zagreb (15), in Podturen (10) and Miklavec (<10) in Mursko Sredisce area, and in Lopatinec in Cakovec area (<10).
Outside Croatia
At least three families with this surname emigrated from Croatia to the United States (2) and Australia (1). Family name Zobić (including: Zobic , Zobich ) is present in 10 countries on three continents. The family name "Zobic " is used by small number of people in Austria , small number in Italy , and small number of people in the United States.
