Vulama families are Croats and they are mostly from Donja Stubica area. In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Zagreb and in Donja Stubica area. In Mokreš in Pleternica area every tenth inhabitant had the family name Vulama.
Prevalence
About 140 people with faimily name Vulama live in Croatia today, in 60 households. There were 110 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number increased by 20 percent. They are located in 8 Croatian counties, in 9 cities and 19 other places, mostly in Zagreb (45), Sesvete (20), Karivaros in Donja Stubica area (20), Graberje Ivanicko (<10), and in Mustafina Klada in Cazma area (<10).
