Vujović families are mainly Croats and they are mostly from Pula , also Montenegrins (Cetinje, Montenegro) and Serbs. In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Zagreb and Pula.
Prevalence
About 220 people with faimily name Vujović live in Croatia today, in 110 households. There were 80 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number more than doubled. They are located in the most of Croatian counties, in 21 cities and 14 other places, mostly in Zagreb (60), Split (20), Pula (20), Rijeka (20), and in Varazdin (15).
In the sources analysed in the project Acta Croatica so far, the name is mentioned over ten times, the first time 1923 in source Emigration Commission Zagreb.
