Vlahušić families are Croats and they are mostly from Dubrovnik area. In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Dubrovnik and in Dubrovnik area. In Štedrica in Dubrovnik area every eighth inhabitant had the family name Vlahušić.
Prevalence
About 90 people with faimily name Vlahušić live in Croatia today, in 40 households. There were 80 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number increased by 20 percent. They are located in four Croatian counties, four cities and 13 other places, mostly in Dubrovnik (40), Ston on the Peljesac peninsula (10), Osijek (<10), Topolo in Dubrovnik area (<10), and in Mokosica (<10).
