Vincetić families are Croats and they are mostly from Bosnian Posavina. According to some sources they are from Medjimurje. In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Bosanian Posavina (Orasje area) and in Zupanja.

About 660 people with faimily name Vincetić live in Croatia today, in 270 households. There were 480 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number increased by 40 percent. They are located in almost all Croatian counties, in 37 cities and 44 other places, mostly in Zupanja (125), Zagreb (75), Stitar (60), Viljevo in Donji Miholjac area (50), and in Osijek (35).

At least 19 families with this surname emigrated from Croatia to: Germany (8), Austria (4), the United States (4), Australia (2), and to Sweden (1). Family name Vincetić is present in 11 countries on three continents.
