Vicković families are frequently Croats and they are mostly from Kastela area , less frequently Serbs. In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Zagreb and Zadar. In Zrinska Draga in Hrvatska Kostajnica area every fourth inhabitant had the family name Vicković.

About 310 people with faimily name Vicković live in Croatia today, in 130 households. There were 220 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number increased by 40 percent. They are located in the most of Croatian counties, in 19 cities and 28 other places, mostly in Zagreb (90), Zadar (65), Split (20), Nadin (20), and in Skabrnja in Biograd na moru area (10).
Outside Croatia
At least two families with this surname emigrated from Croatia to the United States (1) and the Netherlands (1). Family name Vicković (including: Vickovich , Vickovic ) is present in 12 countries on three continents. The family name "Vickovic " is used by small number of people in the United States.
