In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Vukovar and in Knin area. In Ponir in Banja Luka Region (Bosnia) every third inhabitant had the family name Višekruna.
Prevalence
About 60 people with faimily name Višekruna live in Croatia today, in 30 households. There were 80 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number decreased by 20 percent. They are located in 8 Croatian counties, in 11 cities and four other places, mostly in Zagreb (15), Vukovar (15), Borovo in Vukovar area (10), Lipovlje (<10), and in Knin (<10).
