Vehabović families are mainly Bosniaks and they are mostly from Doboj area (Bosnia), but often Croats (Cazinska Krajina, Bosnia). In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Banja Luka Region, Bosnia (Banja Luka area) and in Doboj, Bosnia (Doboj area). In Elezovići in Cazins Region (Bosnia) every ninth inhabitant had the family name Vehabović.
Prevalence
About 60 people with faimily name Vehabović live in Croatia today, in 30 households. There were 10 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number multiplied. They are located in 10 Croatian counties, in 16 cities and 9 other places, mostly in Zagreb (20), Darda in Osijek area (<10), Brusje on the Island of Hvar (<10), Rijeka (<10), and in Beli Manastir (<10).

Family name Vehabović is present in 15 countries on four continents. The family name "Vehabovic " is used by some 200 people in Germany , about 100 in the United States , and small number of people in Indonesia.
