About 100 people with faimily name Vampovac live in Croatia today, in 50 households. There were 120 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number decreased by 20 percent. They are located in 8 Croatian counties, in 10 cities and 9 other places, mostly in Virovitica (35), Golo Brdo (10), in Spisic Bukovica (<10) and Gornje Bazje (<10) in Virovitica area, and in Osijek (<10).
