Trošić families are frequently Croats and they are mostly from Vodice area , less frequently Serbs. In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Sibenik and in Slatina area. In Vaška in Slatina area every twentieth inhabitant had the family name Trošić.
Prevalence
About 240 people with faimily name Trošić live in Croatia today, in 110 households. There were 250 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number remains constant. They are located in the most of Croatian counties, in 19 cities and 25 other places, mostly in Zagreb (50), Pirovac in Vodice area (45), Rijeka (20), Osijek (10), and in Slatina (10).
